Wag feeling! DFA: China hindi puntirya sa US-Japan-PH summit

Nilinaw ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na hindi nakadirekta sa China ang trilateral summit sa pagitan ng mga lider ng Pilipinas, Japan at Amerika.

Nilinaw ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na hindi nakadirekta sa China ang trilateral summit sa pagitan ng mga lider ng Pilipinas, Japan at Amerika.

Ayon kay DFA Undersecretary Hans Mohaiman Siriban, layunin ng summit na palakasin ang ugnayan ng bansa sa dalawang kaalyansa.

“As we have said in many occasions, this trilateral cooperation is not directed at any country,” saad ni Siriban.

“It is really a deepening of existing strong bilateral alliances that we have had,” aniya pa.

Ayon sa DFA official, target din sa trilateral summit na tutukan ang economic resilience at pag-aksyon sa climate change.

“Here we are looking at an expanded platform where we can look at synergies where our 3 countries can cooperate in enhancing the economic resilience of the Philippines especially in the areas of strategic and critical infrastructure,” ayon kay Siriban.

“We are also looking at cooperating to help, you know the Philippines is one of the countries most severely affected by climate change so we are looking at actions, at activities that help address and mitigate the impact climate change, and help the Philippines adapt to climate change,” aniya pa.
