‘Pinas paldo sa trilateral summit; $100-B investment inaasahan!

Kumpiyansa si Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez na hahakot ng bilyong pisong halaga ng investment ang Pilipinas sa paparating na trilateral summit.

Kumpiyansa si Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez na hahakot ng bilyong pisong halaga ng investment ang Pilipinas sa paparating na trilateral summit.

Ayon kay Romualdez, tinatayang $100 bilyon ang investment na makukuha ng Pilipinas sa susunod na lima hanggang 10 taon dahil sa makasaysayang summit kasama ang US at Japan.

“The figures that I have been hearing at, this may sound a little bit expanded in a way, but we’re talking about a hundred billion in investments in the next five to 10 years,” wika ni Romualdez.

“We have a lot of areas where we are putting ourselves, our economic managers are putting our country into a situation where we’re opening up our economy, especially in energy, which is very important for, and also, of course, digital infrastructure, and infrastructure, physical infrastructure as also one of the other aspects of our economic package that we’d like to offer for potential investors,” dagdag pa niya.

Makakasama ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa summit sina US President Joe Biden at Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Idaraos ito sa Washington DC.

Bukod pa rito, inaasahang makikipag-pulong si Marcos kay Biden sa isang hiuwalay na bilateral meeting.
