Kung magwawagi, magiging ikalimang Miss Universe ng bansa si Michelle Dee, kasunod sina Gloria Diaz (1969), Margie Moran (1973), Pia Wurtzbach (2015), at Catriona Gray (2018).

Muling rumampa si Michelle Marquez Dee sa national costume portion ng Miss Universe nitong Biyernes ng umaga, Nobyembre 17.

Suot nito ang isang obra ni Michael Barassi na inilarawan ni Dee sa isang Instagram post bilang “salute to her role as an Air Force reservist.” Ito rin aniya ay nagpapakita ng “unity and artistry” ng bansa at patunay sa pagiging “resilient” at “radiant” ng mga Pilipino.

Kaugnay niyan, sinabi ng kilalang pageant vlogger na maganda ang tsansa ni Dee na magwagi bilang Miss Universe dahil “sharp, flawless, and clean” ito sa mga una niyang pagrampa sa preliminary rounds.

“Malinis ang lahat ng presentations ni Michelle,” sabi ni Tinio sa isang panayam The Big Story ng One News nitong Huwebes, Nobyembre 16. “What’s more interesting is to note that she also paid homage to her mother, Melanie Marquez, during her two presentations. So, it’s a connection of different interesting details, actually. But over and above everything, she performed splendidly.”

Tingin rin ni Tino, makakapasok si Dee sa top 5, kung saan malaking bentahe aniya ang katalinuhan at angking galing ng dalaga sa pagsagot.

“Having listened to Michelle being interviewed in the past, I know that she’s capable of acing her interviews kasi first of all, she has a very calming voice and whenever she speaks, you know that she’s not speaking from rehearsed answers. She’s speaking from the heart talaga—thinking on her feet, speaking from the heart,” paliwanag ni Tinio.
