Gamsahamnida! Free trade ng Pilipinas at South Korea, pirmado na

Kasado na ang Philippines-Korea Free Trade Agreement matapos mapirmahan ito ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at ni South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol sa sidelines ng ika-43 ASEAN Summit sa Indonesia.

Mas pinalakas at pinalawig pa ng Pilipinas at South Korea ang kanilang foreign relations matapos pirmahan ng dalawang bansa ang Philippines-Korea Free Trade Agreement.

Personal na nasaksihan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 7, ang pagpirma sa nasabing agreement, na naglalayong mabigyan ng mas maraming economic opportunities para sa Pilipinas at South Korean.

Sa kanyang pakikipag-uusap sa pangulo ng South Korea na si Yoon Suk Yeol, tiniyak ni Pangulong Marcos na mas pagagandahin pa ng PH-KR FTA ang magandang samahan ng dalawang bansa.

“The signing of the FTA is certainly a very big step in that regard,” paglilinaw ni Marcos. “It can only be a successful arrangement for both our countries. I look forward to the expansion of the trade agreement between your country and mine.”

Dagdag pa niya: “When I look at the involvement of Korea and the Philippines, I can say that the relationship between our two countries remains vibrant. And I think it is accelerating … I would like to take this opportunity to deepen further that relationship.”

Sinegundahan naman ito ni Yeol, na nagsabing gusto rin ng South Korea na mas pag-igtingin pa ang strategic partnership ng dalawang bansa.
