“Today marks the launch of the inaugural Maritime Cooperative Activity between our armed forces and the defense forces of our strategic partner, Australia,” saad Marcos sa isang post sa X.

Ang Maritime Cooperative Activity ay gagawin ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Australian Defense Force (ADF) upang palakasin pang lalo ang “maritime bilateral interoperability” ng dalawang bansa.

“We endeavor to enhance bilateral interoperability in maritime security and domain awareness; test doctrines, existing protocols, and enhance efficiency; and foster closer cooperation between our countries’ armed forces,” ani Marcos.

Dagdag pa niya, ang naturang aktibidad at ang mga susunod pa dito ay “practical manifestation of the growing and deepening strategic and defense partnership between our countries.”
