DBM: P57M inilaan para sa educational assistance ng mga katutubo

Inaprubahan ni Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah “Mina” Pangandaman ang Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) at ang kaukulang Notice of Cash Allocation na nagkakahalagang P57.120 milyon para sa pagpapatupad ng Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) program.

Inaprubahan ni Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah “Mina” Pangandaman ang Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) at ang kaukulang Notice of Cash Allocation na nagkakahalagang P57.120 milyon para sa pagpapatupad ng Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) program.

Layon kasi ng programa na matulungan ang mga katutubong komunidad sa Educational Assistance Program (EAP) ng PAMANA.

“We always recognize the unique challenges faced by our IP communities. The educational assistance program is a vital step towards empowering them, providing access to quality education and opportunities for advancement,” ani Pangandaman.

Samantala, kabilang sa mga rehiyon na malalaanan ng pondo ay ang Caraga Administrative Region (CAR), at mga rehiyon IV-B, IX, XI, XII, at XIII.

“We look forward to seeing the PAMANA program reach its intended beneficiaries, particularly in conflict-affected areas. Education is critical to our efforts to foster peace and prosperity,” dagdag pa nito.
